St. Cloud State University will provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Minnesota Human Rights Act (MHRA) and Minnesota State Board Policy 1B.4. We will actively work with members of the public to provide feasible options for accessibility to campus events open to the public.
Members of the general public with disabilities who require accommodations to attend a public event on campus should complete the Members of the Public Request for Access to Public Event form below at least 10 business days prior to the event when practicable. The online form is preferred. If in the rare circumstance a disability prevents or makes it difficult to use the online form, members of the public may:
Facilities Management will review the request to determine whether we are able to make the accommodation, coordinate with other departments as needed to arrange the accommodation, and provide the requestor with details of the accommodation arrangement.

Complaints should be in writing whenever possible and contain information such as name, phone number or email address of complainant and location, date, and description of the problem. Complaints should be submitted no later than 30 days following the event. A representative from Facilities Management will respond with the position of St. Cloud State University and offer options for substantive resolution.
A member of the public who feels that Facilities Management has not responded satisfactorily to their complaint about disability accommodations may appeal in writing to:

This appeal must be submitted within 15 business days of the response from Facilities Management. The Office for Institutional Equity & Access shall respond to the appeal in writing, and, where appropriate, in a format accessible to the complainant, with a final resolution of the complaint.
Accommodation request forms and complaint files shall be maintained by Facilities Management and appeal files shall be maintained by Office for Institutional Equity & Access according to their respective retention schedules.
